FRESHWATER: You can catch some good-sized bass at Lake Woodruff at daybreak. Plastic Toads, frogs and Gambler Lures worked across the top of grass beds works very well. Vary the speed of the retrieve until you find out how aggressive fish are being. Drift open waters of the lake with crickets for plenty of bluegills.

SALTWATER: Try for snook off the northern jetties at Sebastian Inlet. Croakers and big live shrimp both work well. Most fish are just above the slot, with a few 40-inch plus fish possible. Over-the-slot sized redfish and jacks will be in the mix also. Tarpon and Spanish mackerel are possible during tide changes.
