Creek falls (1-6, 0-2) was held to mi­nus-6 yards rush­ing and 45 yards pass­ing.

Boone plays for first place in the dis­trict next week at No. 6 Win­ter Park. The Wild­cats im­proved to 7-1 over­all and 2-0 in 8A-3 with a 55-7 romp past host Or­lando Univer­sity (1-6, 0-3) on Fri­day.

Hor­nets sting Tavares: No. 14 Bishop Moore (4-3, 2-0) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 51-7 rout of vis­it­ing Tavares (2-5, 0-2) in 5A-13. Hor­nets run­ning back Caleb Blake took the ball on the first play from scrim­mage 49 yards down the right side­line for a touch­down.

Win­ter Springs gets “W”: R.J. Mayes scored four TDs for Win­ter Springs (1-6, 1-3 in 8A-2) and the Bears ral­lied from 20 points down to win 35-27 over Or­ange City Univer­sity (1-7, 0-5).

Un­beat­ens: Class 3A The First Academy ran its record to 6-0 with a 41-14 win at Trin­ity Prep (1-7).

Win­der­mere of the Sunshine State Ath­letic Con­fer­ence im­proved to 7-0 with a 58-0 home win over Lake Mary Prep (1-6).
