Women deserve respect

I am so weary of seeing the way female politicians are depicted in some photographs and political cartoons. It’s time for Dana Summers and men like him to accept the fact that women in politics and business are not going anywhere. It is way past time that we were treated with the same respect as our male colleagues. His recent depiction of now Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (Jan. 4) is just one example. Depicting women as vengeful and evil for doing their jobs is the very definition of the toxic masculinity that pervades every aspect of our lives every day. Enough is enough.
