Canadian teenager Bianca Andreescu knocked off another former No. 1, beating seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams 6-7 (1) 6-1, 6-3 to reach the semifinals at the ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand. The 18-year-old Andreescu, ranked 152nd in the world, defeated topseeded Caroline Wozniacki in the second round.
