Romney has no backbone

Orlando Sentinel - - OPINION -

So Mitt Romney wants another shot at the presidency (”Romney: How the president shapes the public character,” Jan. 3).

Why should anyone, right or left, pull a lever for a candidate, who when he had the presidency within his grasp, refused to fight back, preferring to tiptoe around President Obama and die off “honorably” with character?

I watched the tape when Harry Reid gloated on camera about successfully duping the American public into believing that Mitt Romney had paid zero taxes.

It was a complete lie. Romney refused to defend himself about a boldfaced lie that besmirched his reputation. Just the candidate we need in The White House with treadmarks covering the lack of a spine.

Newsflash for the uninformed ... President Obama’s ideology caused President Trump to be elected. Mitt Romney is insulting our intelligence by pretending otherwise. Will Graves Winter Park
