The 44-year-old man whose arm was caught in the conveyor belt on a water raft ride at Disney Typhoon Lagoon had fractures on his arm and injuries on his neck and back, according to a state report released Tuesday.

The man’s injury on Dec. 8 on the incline of the ride was previously reported at Miss Adventure Falls. Authorities had said at the time he was airlifted to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries but didn’t provide further details. “Our care and concern is with the guest and his family,” a Disney spokeswoman previously said.

Every quarter, Florida’s major theme parks disclose guests’ riderelated injuries or illnesses that required an immediate hospital stay of at least 24 hours. Thirteen incidents, which appeared to be mostly minor, were reported during October through December at the parks during the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday.

At the same Disney water ride Nov. 20, an 18-year-old man also fell out of the raft into a catch pool at the end of slide and struck his head, the report said.

The report also said a 72-year-old woman fell and hurt her hip while she exited Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Oct. 25 at the Magic Kingdom.

In Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, a 53-year-old man reported chest pains at Kumba, a steel roller coaster.

A 51-year-old man vomited at Mako, a roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando.

In Universal Orlando Resort, two guests complained of head pain or nausea at the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster. Somebody also reported feeling dizzy at both Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Revenge of the Mummy.

No issues were reported at Legoland Florida.

The parks report the incidents as part of a deal they made to avoid state inspections. The report is released by the Florida Department of Agriculture.
