Person of interest detained in investigation of 7-Eleven stabbing
Deputies have detained a person of interest in the death investigation of a man found stabbed at a 7-Eleven in Orlando on Sunday, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
Deputies responded to the 7-Eleven at 3974 South Orange Blossom Trail around 2:11 a.m. in response to an aggravated battery and found a 45-year-old man unresponsive with stab wounds on his chest, Lt. Ken Taylor said in a press release.
A 53-year-old man has been detained as a person of interest, Taylor said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, Taylor said.
No other information was available. The investigation is ongoing.
