‘Seinfeld’ at 30: TBS plans July 5 marathon, ‘Bestivus’

What do you get for the show about nothing on its birthday?

Why, a marathon. TBS will salute “Seinfeld” with a 30-episode blowout on the show’s birthday: July 5.

Originally called “The Seinfeld Chronicles,” the sitcom debuted July 5, 1989, on NBC.

TBS is calling its marathon “Bestivus.” “The Strike,” the episode about Festivus, will air in prime time.

The “Seinfeld” episodes, as listed and explained by TBS: 6 a.m. – “The Chinese Restaurant”

Jerry, Elaine and George need reservatio­ns at a Chinese restaurant.
