House Bill 3224: Among other things, establishes a new Office of Women’s Health in the Department of Veterans Affairs, provides more funding for women’s programs, increases health care coverage of newborns from seven to 14 days and requires more oversight of health care for women. Passed on Nov. 12 by a vote of 399-11.

House Bill 3537: Assists veterans in training for and starting businesses. Passed on Nov. 13 by a vote of 424-1.
