NWSL leader Duffy re­signs to join Pride

In 2014, Duffy left the W-League to be­come the vice pres­i­dent of op­er­a­tions for Louisville City FC, a team in the USL. She be­came the only fe­male pres­i­dent in the league in 2015, and Louisville City set at­ten­dance records dur­ing her ten­ure.

Louisville was Or­lando City SC’s USL af­fil­i­ate when Duffy led the fran­chise. She has counted among her men­tors Or­lando City co-founder Phil Rawl­ins, Beswicks Sports di­rec­tor and Or­lando City board mem­ber Gary Mel­lor, and for­mer Or­lando City vice pres­i­dent of devel­op­ment Tim Holt.
