NWSL leader Duffy resigns to join Pride
In 2014, Duffy left the W-League to become the vice president of operations for Louisville City FC, a team in the USL. She became the only female president in the league in 2015, and Louisville City set attendance records during her tenure.
Louisville was Orlando City SC’s USL affiliate when Duffy led the franchise. She has counted among her mentors Orlando City co-founder Phil Rawlins, Beswicks Sports director and Orlando City board member Gary Mellor, and former Orlando City vice president of development Tim Holt.
NWSL President Amanda Duffy has resigned to take a new job with the Orlando Pride.
