HOROSCOPES

Orlando Sentinel - - OBITUARIES -

Aries (March 21-April 19): Keeping your private and public lives separate is more of a struggle than you care to admit. Keeping up a professional front is crucial when your productivity is on the line. Slow down to catch your breath, and reclaim your center. Let your actions express your priorities.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Seeking clarification before you rattle off your own opinion saves you heaps of trouble today. There’s no reason to turn this teachable moment into a lesson for others now; your current assignment is simply to understand the complex interpersonal dynamics the best you can.

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Your current thinking takes you beyond appreciation for your personal blessings, giving you a sense of your financial power. Poet Khalil Gibran wrote, “Money is like love; it kills slowly and painfully the one who withholds it and enlivens the other who turns it on his fellow man.”

Cancer (June 21-July 22): It’s wonderful to dote on those you love, as long as you keep your emotions out of the picture. There is a distinct line between being available when you are needed versus being unconsciously needy. Honoring boundaries demonstrates respect.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Embrace the freshness of stepping into uncharted territory. Assume your power by moving to the beat of the thrill, rather than succumbing to the confusion of fear. In fact, your concerns are likely unfounded if you did your homework. Let your intuition, not your ego, be your guide.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): You are thankful for your life and want to express your gratitude to nearly everyone you encounter, but don’t confuse the magnanimity of your spirit with the size of your budget. If you give and receive with sincerity, you spread positivity. A grateful heart is a powerful heart.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Something sudden may happen that bolsters your confidence. The key to the current cosmic potential is to believe that you are capable of altering your perspective. Playwright George Bernard Shaw wrote, “Those who can’t change their minds can’t change anything.”

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): You’re prone to harmless embellishment and exaggeration today. You are driven to experience life in grand terms, and you hope that everyone can walk on the sunny side of the street with you. Err on the side of understatement, and allow your actions to broadcast enthusiasm.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22Dec. 21): More is not always better, so be cautious about throwing money around for enjoyment. Rather than spending a pile of cash, make a little count for a lot. Don’t buy a whole cake when all you crave is a slice. Keep your needs simple while savoring what’s on your plate.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Prioritizing clear communication is key rather than running on assumptions and ultimatums. Openly discussing goals to reach together or separately enables you to support and hold each other accountable. Expanding your horizons is easier when you double your efforts.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Productivity is low on your priority list. Although your behavior appears random, you might actually be rebelling against authority. Statesman Oscar Arias wrote, “The more freedom we enjoy, the greater the responsibility we bear, toward others as well as ourselves.”

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): At your best, you’re extremely thankful for life’s gifts. You might inadvertently draw loved ones into a maelstrom of frustrating moods that are difficult to satisfy. Allow people room to make their own choices. Taking responsibility for your happiness is in your hands.
