Give stimulus money to needy if you can

I am pleased that our federal government is trying to help people in need, but sending $1,200 to virtually everyone is so wasteful.

A friend of mine has sent her stimulus check to a food bank. I urge all of your readers who are not hurt financially by the coronavirus to donate their check to a charity or to a family in need.
