Siegel chef denies hearing harassment allegations
An executive chef mentioned in a Westgate sexual harassment lawsuit has denied ever hearing a private chef’s claims that Jackie Siegel sexually harassed him or that he reported the allegation up the chain of command.
Jose Flores, a former private chef to Westgate owner David Siegel and his wife, Jackie, filed a federal lawsuit this month against Central Florida Investments, the parent company of Westgate Resorts.
In the suit, Flores accused Jackie Siegel of sexually harassing him regularly on the job, inappropriate touching him and making obscene comments.
The Siegels, who gained worldwide attention for their lifestyle and efforts to build a 90,000-square-foot home in Windermere in the documentary “The Queen of Versailles,” denied the lawsuit’s allegations, their attorney Michael Marder said.
