Siegel chef denies hearing harassment allegation­s

An executive chef mentioned in a Westgate sexual harassment lawsuit has denied ever hearing a private chef’s claims that Jackie Siegel sexually harassed him or that he reported the allegation up the chain of command.

Jose Flores, a former private chef to Westgate owner David Siegel and his wife, Jackie, filed a federal lawsuit this month against Central Florida Investment­s, the parent company of Westgate Resorts.

In the suit, Flores accused Jackie Siegel of sexually harassing him regularly on the job, inappropri­ate touching him and making obscene comments.

The Siegels, who gained worldwide attention for their lifestyle and efforts to build a 90,000-square-foot home in Windermere in the documentar­y “The Queen of Versailles,” denied the lawsuit’s allegation­s, their attorney Michael Marder said.

“Simply put, the allegation­s in this complaint are absolutely false and these events never happened,” Marder said in an email last week. “Westgate and Mrs.
