Celebs Tortorella, Longoria slated for virtual graduation

Students across the country who are bummed to be missing their graduation ceremonies due to the coronaviru­s pandemic will get some of the experience from a star-studded lineup of speakers at a virtual event today.

“I’m Still Graduating,” created by college media company Her Campus, will feature celebritie­s giving toasts and speeches to the Class of 2020. Personalit­ies in the lineup include actor and author Nico Tortorella, actress Eva Longoria, fashion designer Kenneth Cole, tennis icon Billie Jean King, WWE star Natalya Neihardt, Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, former Ohio governor John

Kasich and one-time Democratic presidenti­al primary candidate Andrew Yang as well as dozens more.

The event will also include musical performanc­es by Liam Payne, Jesse McCartney, Grouplove and more.

Selected students from universiti­es throughout the country will give speeches throughout the day.

Graduating students are invited to make graduation announceme­nts and the public can record short videos supporting the grads.
