Whip it real good

Do Disney Springs, for real or at home, with Dole Whip Nachos

- By Amy Drew Thompson

Dole Whip Nachos are not new, but they’re probably new to you.

Serious Disney aficionados will remember them as a one-day offering on Sept. 30, 2019, a celebratory treat honoring Disney Springs’ one-million follower milestone on Instagram.

Now that Disney Springs is back open, this deconstructed sundae is part of the regular menu at Marketplace Snacks. The DOLE Whip Nachos ($8.99) feature waffle cone “chips” topped with DOLE Whip, mango boba pearls, fresh pineapple, strawberry sauce, whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.

And they’re clearly made for sharing.

If you’re still not ready for real-time perusal of the Springs’, though, you can be enterprising and recreate them at home. Simply gather all the side ingredients — feel free to include some new ones and be creative! — then hit up one of a few local joints for some DOLE whip takeout.
