Bars closed ‘at least’ this weekend after customer tests positive

Three bars in Mills 50 are closing for “at least” the weekend after a customer tested positive for COVID-19, according to the owner.

Will’s Pub, Lil Indies and Dirty Laundry won’t be open as cleaning and testing are done in the facilities, a Facebook post by owner Will Walker on Friday said.

The customer who tested positive was at Will’s Pub Thursday night and “hugged people” while there, Walker wrote. He encouraged others to stay home if feeling ill and to self-quarantine if awaiting test results.

“If you go out before you get your results you are a danger to everyone around you,” he wrote. “You not only can get people sick you can shut down an entire business with your actions.”
