CATCHING A RIDE AT VOLCANO BAY
Queued guests wave on Thursday while waiting to board a raft ride at Universal’s Volcano Bay water park. Universal Orlando
Resort, including Volcano Bay, reopened to guests on June 3 after closing down because of the coronavirus pandemic. Although guests are required to wear a face mask in the Volcano Bay community areas and on park transportation, masks are not permitted on rides, slides or in the park’s pools. Other safety steps added at Volcano Bay include limited capacity in the park and on rides, guest temperature screenings and social distancing requirements.
