Wild Florida offering discount admission

- By Trevor Fraser

July 1 is American Zoo Day, honoring the opening of the nation’s first zoo, the Philadelphia Zoo, in 1874. Since wandering around in large crowds is not the healthiest activity these days, the best way to celebrate might be to stare at exotic animals from the safety of a car.

Wild Florida has just the trip you’re looking for in their Drive-thru Safari Park. The Osceola attraction features more than 100 animals from bison to emu to crocodiles, all to be observed running fairly wild in a leisurely hour-long drive.

Admission to the safari is typically $29 per adult and $20 ages 12 and younger, but use promo code VO2020 at checkout online and receive $4 off each admission.

Other restrictions apply. To book your visit or for more information, go to wildfloridairboats.com.
