Vandalism of Orlando mural shows animosity
Shortly after reading the piece about Orlando’s new “Black Lives Matter” mural (“Front and Center,” June 27), I heard on the radio that the 400-foot-long mural written about had been vandalized and defaced overnight.
My jaded reaction? “What goes around comes around.” It appears the cliche became manifest in this instance. The injection of race into so many happenings daily is only serving to stoke feelings of animosity and antagonism on all sides.
