Voter-fraud cartoon was slanted

-

The editorial cartoon on Sunday by Michael Ramirez of Creators Syndicate targeted Democrats as likely to use absentee ballots for fraud.

Every election official I’ve seen interviewed over the past few months vouches for the integrity of absentee voting in their state. An example on Sunday’s news was the supervisor of elections in Oregon cited the fact that they had 22 suspicious ballots out of more than 20,000,000 votes cast. On top of that, no one seems to remember than the only notable case of verified voter fraud was in North Carolina in 2016 by a GOP operative.

Opponents can continue to spread misinformation; that seems to be their 1st Amendment right. Just be sure that they are at least truthful about the fact that either party could try to misuse absentee ballots.
