WESH 2’s Sanika Dange shifts to weekday mornings

Sanika Dange is now a WESH 2 News Sunrise co-anchor during the week, the station announced. She joins Jason Guy, Michelle Imperato, Sheldon Dutes and meteorolog­ist Kellianne Klass for morning broadcasts Monday-Friday.

Dange has anchored weekends for WESH-Channel

2 at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. as well as 10 p.m. on sister station WKCF-Channel 18 (CW18) since January 2018.

“Sanika is an outstandin­g journalist with a fantastic ability to deliver breaking news fast and accurately,” said Kirsten Wolff, news director of WESH 2 News, in a press release. “Her on-air presence is perfect for morning news and will be a wonderful addition to our Sunrise team.”
