Here’s where to get vaccinated in Central Florida
Administration of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine remains on hold due to concern over rare but serious blood clots, but nearly all sites have switched to the Pfizer vaccine for Florida residents 16 and older or the Moderna vaccine to residents 18 and over.
Note that 16- and 17-year-olds will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a signed consent form — or both.
The FEMA-run sites in Orlando at Valencia College’s West Campus, which had switched to administering mostly the Johnson & Johnson one-dose shot, will have only scheduled second doses of the Pfizer vaccine this week. However, first doses of Pfizer are also slated to be available there next week.
We have compiled a list of vaccination sites across Central Florida that will be updated frequently.
There’s also a statewide email address for home-bound seniors to register to have the COVID19 vaccine brought directly to them.

Anyone seeking a vaccination will need proof of being a fullor part-time Florida resident. Examples of accepted documentation include a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida identification card or any two of the following:
A deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, mortgage payment booklet or residential rental or lease agreement.
A utility hookup or work order that is not more than 2 months old or a utility bill that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a bank or other financial institution — including checking, savings, or investment account statements — that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a government agency, such as a tax bill showing a Florida address, that is not more than 2 months old.
Caution: Beware of scams. Do not fill out Eventbrite vaccine registration forms unless they are provided through a county’s website or the links in this list, and do not register for a vaccination appointment that requires payment. However, many providers ask for insurance information if you have coverage.

Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY CONVENTION CENTER, 9800 International Dr., Orlando: This is a drive-through site providing up to 4,000 doses a day, with appointments required through the state vaccine portal (https://www.patientportalfl. com/s/?language=en_US). To be notified, sign up for alerts at ocfl.net/vaccine or check back here for updates. The site has the Pfizer vaccine, meaning it is open to Florida residents 16 and up.
Note: If you’re a parent or legal guardian wanting to register a 16- or 17-year-old for a vaccination appointment, and don’t already have an account through the state vaccine portal, you must do that first. Then click on the “Register Minors/ Wards” tab within your CDR profile. Hours: Vary, based on appointments. The site will close at the end of May with the final first shots of Pfizer given on May 5 as the county moves to using mobile sites.
SILVER STAR PARK GYMNASIUM, 2801 N. Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando: Open Monday through Friday (April 19-23), this is a part of an Orange County effort to increase access to the vaccine by holding one-week mobile vaccination clinics at various locations throughout the county. Appointments are required Monday through Thursday (register at https://www.patientportalfl. com/s/?language=en_US). On Friday, vaccinations will be offered first come, first served, while supplies last. Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. until capacity is reached.
ORANGE COUNTY LIBRARY SOUTH TRAIL BRANCH, 4600 Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando: This FEMA-run site is for walk-up vaccinations only with no appointments needed. It is expected to run for six to 10 weeks, depending on vaccine supply. Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or while daily allotment lasts), seven days a week.
VALENCIA COLLEGE’S WEST CAMPUS, 1800 S. Kirkman Road, Orlando: This FEMA site is run through a federal-state partnership offering vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis for Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. Also, anyone who received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the site is guaranteed their second dose at Valencia. Residents seeking their first shot of a two-dose vaccine should arrive earlier in the day, as the amount of first-doses is limited. Hours:
7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
ORLANDO VA MEDICAL CENTER, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in the fourth-floor auditorium of the Lake Nona facility, offering the Pfizer vaccine. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. All veterans, their spouses, widows and caretakers are now eligible to be vaccinated there, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Note: If you have a Johnson & Johnson vaccine appointment scheduled, your VA health facility will work with you to determine what to do next.
LAKE BALDWIN VA MEDICAL CENTER, 5201 Raymond St., Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in Auditorium B of the facility. Appointments and walkins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499. All veterans, their spouses, widows and caretakers are eligible for the vaccine, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pfizer vaccine offered.

Seniors who lack transportation may qualify for a free ride from LYNX. You must have a scheduled appointment at the Orange County Convention Center before calling 407-8363111 to request a scheduled ride. Seniors also may ride LYNX to the Valencia College site, which does not require an appointment.
Seminole County
OVIEDO MALL, 1360 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo (enter from the parking lot closest to District Eat & Play): This is an appointment-only site. New appointments are posted each Thursday at https://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/. Currently offering the Pfizer vaccine. Hours: Vary, based on appointments.

Eventbrite, the appointment system utilized by Seminole County, has a feature to “follow” events created by Seminole County to receive notification if cancellations result in available appointments. Homebound residents should call the county’s Citizen’s Information Line at (407) 665-0000 to request an in-home vaccination visit. The request will be screened for eligibility, with paramedics scheduling in-home visits.
Homebound veterans who served in WW2 or the Korean War can put in a request for an in-home visit through the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
Lake County
LAKE SQUARE MALL, 10401 US-441, Leesburg: This is the county’s state-supported vaccination site with first- and second-dose Pfizer vaccines. Appointments can be made through the state’s myvaccine.fl.gov website or starting Monday, April 19, walk-ups will be accepted. Hours: Vary, based on appointments; for walkups, Monday and Tuesday (April 19-20) from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (April 21-23) from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The site will be closed on Saturday, April 24.
DOH-LAKE COMMUNITY HEALTH SITE, 560 W. DeSoto St., Clermont: Open for scheduled second doses only from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon.
DOH-LAKE UMATILLA SITE, 249 E. Collins St., Umatilla: Open for scheduled second doses only from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. MORE INFORMATION:

Residents can preregister to be notified when immunization appointments are available by visiting myvaccine. fl.gov or calling 866-201-6909 (or 833-476-1031 for TTY users). Once available, individuals will be contacted by phone call, text or email and will be assisted in scheduling an appointment.
Osceola County
CENTRO CRISTIANO DIOS DE PACTOS CHURCH, 1130 Simmons Road, Kissimmee: This is an appointment-only site with preregistration required through the state vaccine portal or by calling or call 866-201-6507. Residents will be contacted by the county’s vendor to schedule their first dose appointment; the Health Department will schedule the second dose. Residents age 16 and 17 can make an appointment to be vaccinated here but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointment only.
CHAMBERS PARK COMMUNITY CENTER, 2380 Smith St., Kissimmee: Drive-up site open without appointment through April 30. Hours: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week.
65th INFANTRY VETERANS PARK, 301 Buenaventura Blvd., Kissimmee: This walk-up site provides up to 200 shots a day. No appointments required. Hours: daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until the day’s doses are depleted.
OSCEOLA TECHNICAL COLLEGE, 501 Simpson Rd., Kissimmee: This is a FEMA-operated satellite site open for walk-up vaccinations, Tuesday and Wednesday only, no appointment required. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
MORE INFORMATION: Residents 18 and older who have obtained an appointment for a COVID-19 shot and do not have a way to transport themselves to the Osceola County vaccine site at Centro Cristiano Dios De Pactos Church can call 407-742-0000 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday to find out how to qualify for a ride. Lynx needs at least a 48 hour prior notice to schedule a ride through the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Since the OEM does not operate on weekends, any ride needed for a Saturday or Monday, must be made the prior Thursday at the latest.
The county also is partnering with Prescriptions Unlimited in St. Cloud to provide vaccinations to home-bound patients 60 and older and home health providers. Providers seeking vaccinations for their staff or patients may call 407-892-7166 or email covid19@unlimitedrx. com to schedule an appointment. Appointments are required.

Volusia County
VOLUSIA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, 3150 E New York Ave, DeLand: This is a state-supported vaccination site with appointments required through the state vaccine portal at myvaccine.fl.gov or 866-201-7314. (Walk-ups are not accepted.) Individuals who received their first dose COVID-19 vaccine at the Volusia County Fairgrounds should return to the same location on the date written on the back of their vaccination card to receive their second dose. DAYTONA BEACH VA CLINIC, 551 National Health Care

Shots available to all veterans, their spouses, widow and caretakers, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Note: Florida Medicaid is providing free transportation to receive a vaccine for qualifying individuals with Medicaid. Brevard County
VIERA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CLINIC, 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera: This is state-run site. Individuals may pre-register for vaccine appointments and be notified when appointments are available by visiting myvaccine.fl.gov or by calling 1-866-201-5420 (or TTY 1-833-476-1525). Hours:

Polk County
STATE OPERATED SITES:
The county is continuing to use its own vaccination enrollment process at https://register.polk.health rather than the statewide registration system. Enrollments can be made online or by calling the COVID19 Vaccination Call Center at 863-298-7500. Appointment availability is based on the supply of vaccine. The shots are administered by appointment only at 1290 Golfview Ave, Bartow.
