COVID-19 vaccine sites across Central Florida: Here’s where to go

This is a drivethrou­gh site providing up to 4,000 doses a day, with appointmen­ts required through the state vaccine portal (https://www. patientpor­talfl.com/s/?language=en_US). To be notified, sign up for alerts at ocfl. net/vaccine or check back here for updates. The site has the Pfizer vaccine, meaning it is open to Florida residents 16 and up.

Note: If you’re a parent or legal guardian wanting to register a 16- or 17-year-old for a vaccinatio­n appointmen­t, and don’t already have an account through the state vaccine portal, you must do that first. Then click on the “Register Minors/Wards” tab within your CDR profile.

nonprofit community health clinic is offering the Moderna vaccine on a walk-in basis, open to all residents 18 and over seeking a first or second dose. Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This is a VA-run site, located in the fourth-floor auditorium of the Lake Nona facility, offering the Pfizer vaccine. Appointmen­ts and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. All veterans, their spouses, widows and caretakers are now eligible to be vaccinated there, with priority given to veterans who already receive care through the VA. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Eventbrite, the appointmen­t system utilized by Seminole County, has a feature to “follow” events created by Seminole County to receive notificati­on if cancellati­ons result in available appointmen­ts. To “follow” events, visit PrepareSem­inole.org, click on appointmen­t links, and look for the blue “follow” button at the top right of the page. The Seminole County Citizen Informatio­n Hotline is available to assist Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at 407-665-0000. Text COVID19INF­O to 888-777 to opt-in for alerts from Seminole County Emergency Management related to COVID-19.

Homebound residents should call the county’s Citizen’s Informatio­n Line at (407) 665-0000 to request an in-home vaccinatio­n visit. The request will be screened for eligibilit­y, with paramedics scheduling in-home visits.

Homebound veterans who served in WW2 or the Korean War can put in a request for an in-home visit through the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs. phone call, text or email and will be assisted in scheduling an appointmen­t.

This is an appointmen­t-only site with preregistr­ation required through the state vaccine portal or by calling or call 866-201-6507. Residents will be contacted by the county’s vendor to schedule their first dose appointmen­t; the Health Department will schedule the second dose. Residents age 16 and 17 can make an appointmen­t to be vaccinated here but must be accompanie­d by a parent or legal guardian. Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., by appointmen­t only.

Drive-up site open without appointmen­t through April 30. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week.

This walk-up site provides up to 200 shots a day. No appointmen­ts required. daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until the day’s doses are depleted.
