WESH-Channel 2 and WKCF-Channel 18 (CW18) are making changes to their anchor lineups.

Meredith McDonough will move to mornings to co-anchor WESH 2 News Sunrise with Jason Guy in late summer. McDonough — who has delivered news to Central Florida since 2011 — most recently anchored WESH 2 News at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

“What I love about morning news is the bond we build with viewers,” she said in a press release. “They rely on us for important information to plan their day, and it feels great to get them off to a positive start. As a Mom of three and soon to be four, I know how valuable it is to turn to WESH for news, weather and traffic, as you’re getting ready for the day.”

With McDonough’s move comes a few other anchor swaps at Central Florida’s NBC and CW affiliates.

Summer Knowles will co-anchor WESH 2 News at 4 p.m. with Stewart Moore as well as at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. with Jim Payne. Michelle Imperato moves to WESH 2 News at 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. on CW18, where she will co-anchor with Stewart Moore.

These changes take effect in May.
