Ticked off! @lousy hospitals

-

I’m ticked off to be put on the back burner for a needed procedure to remove a kidney stone because our lousy local hospitals can’t get their act together in view of the outbreak of COVID cases.

Two different hospitals recently incarcerated me — yes, I consider my stays there as incarcerations as I was treated quite poorly, and now this! I’m losing confidence in the entire medical profession, other than my fabulous primary care doctor! Quite a sorry state of affairs in our country when most of the staff seem thoroughly confused. I’m fed up!

I feel that the “almost” media ads depicting males and females in suggestive poses in order to sell sexual products are in poor taste and occasionally appear pornographic.

Such ads should be rejected by management. Obviously “anything goes” that will generate advertising profits.

To the Fred Bassett complainer: Well, speak for yourself, and I guess you did. I love Fred Bassett! Everything doesn’t have to bring a huge belly laugh; just a nice smile to my face is enough. And Fred never fails to deliver.

I am extremely ticked off at a local AC repair company that took total advantage of me when I had no air and was home sick! They price-gouged me for the repair and charged me triple for the work done. Refused to refund my money after I found out what other reputable companies would charge for the same work.

This is ridiculous and outrageous! Shame on them and remember: What comes around goes around!

The flip side

Sunday, our group of nine decided to invade Bob Evans in Clermont for lunch. We enjoyed fellowship, food and most of all our server, Andy.

He was well trained, so our service was excellent. However, the greatest asset was Andy. His happy spirit and smile made our day.
