Ticked off! @Tattooed women

-

I’m ticked off at people who bring cats to sporting events in order to watch their attempts to escape from what surely must be a terrifying situation. And newscasters who get a chuckle out of reporting on it are doing animals a disservice and should be ashamed of themselves.

I’m ticked off that newspapers and TV parrot the police in referring to the public as “civilians.” The police are civilians too; America doesn’t have military police. The media and police should refer to us as the public. I’m heartbroken and ticked off about the Pet Alliance fire. Why don’t these buildings have a fire sprinkler system installed when building these places? All shelters should have A/C, heat, sprinkler systems and any and all safety features. This is senseless!

I’m ticked off ! At least four of my neighbors are getting a new roof even though the present one looks good. Confirmed two at the expense of their insurance company thousands of dollars. Suspect all four. I play by the rules but don’t have a new roof!

I went with my wife to see her gynecologist and while waiting for her turn to climb into the stirrups, there were a number of other women waiting that had numerous visible tattoos on their arms, legs, etc. If we didn’t know better, it looked like the employment agency for the WWE.

I have many times tried to put an item in the ticked off section that is significant in our society but none of my items get published. At least my opinions are not about lawyer ads or dogs barking, people making too much noise, someone complaining about football games, someone complaining about finding veal. Really?

The flip side

Kudos to the Orange County Health Department for making getting my COVID vaccine information so easy. One phone call for an appointment, five minutes at the their records office, and done!
