Ticked off! @airport parkers

-

I’m ticked off at the parking situation at Orlando International Airport. I’m ticked off by people who park along the side of the road and the lack of enforcement with these people who create a hazard by lining up there. On a recent nighttime airport run, there were at least 25 cars with their flashers on along the road while there were 140 empty spaces in the North Cell Lot.

I’m ticked off at the officials at the UF-FSU football game. So you have the football and an opposition player tears off your helmet; but you continue to drive hard and cross the goal line. Guess what? You are hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and a loss of 15 yards! How in any world does that make any sense? Ridiculous!

A health department inspector came into our building, which is occupied by many older residents, some of whom are immune compromised. She was told that we ask people to wear masks in the elevator and offered a mask. She refused to wear one. No wonder government workers get bad reputations.

To the person complaining about (the) Dolphins game. Hey, dude, not a legit comparison. Look at a map. Dolphins are based in Florida. Steelers in some Rust Belt city up north. If you want to watch Steelers games, go back up north.

I agree with everyone else. Mt. Pleasant is not funny and is crudely drawn. Please get rid of it. Also, currently 25-yearold Doonesbury strips are running. Please get rid of it, too. And while we’re at it, the British humor of Fred

Bassett is not funny either. It can go, too.

The Orlando City team deserves more respect. Playoff game was Tuesday, it’s now Friday and still no write-up of the game! Why not?

The flip side

I would like to thank whoever found and turned in my iPhone on Thanksgiving night at Cracker Barrel on South Semoran Boulevard. You made my holiday. Thank you very much!
