Ticked off! @mask wearing

-

The female reporting the nightly news ticks me off. She either needs to change her mode of dress and hairstyle or leave the channel altogether.

I’m ticked off that the Florida and Florida State football teams don’t play for a specific trophy. (Paul Bunyan’s Ax, Old Oaken Bucket, for example). Here’s a thought. They play at Thanksgiving annually. So... The Golden Turkey?

I’m ticked off that after all this time so many people don’t get it. If your facemask is under your nose, it doesn’t protect you or me. Please, with cases rising, new variants, etc., help stop the spread!

I’m so tired of people complaining about men with tattoos, long hair and beards. Who are you to judge how someone chooses to present themselves? Quit judging others on their appearance and get to know their heart and character.

Politically correct applies to almost every category of human being except the larger sized. It seems large humans can still be targeted with jokes with no repercussions. Well, this listener of a local oldies radio station will no longer be listening since the morning DJs made fun of an oversized lady in one of their stories by playing a slow tuba march. I think this is so egregious to a portion of the population that I will no longer tune in to this station after many years of listening.

I’m ticked off at the people with irrational fears taking up half of this column trying to explain their perpetual mask wearing. You live in fear 24/7. Got it. Now stop scribbling essays and go away!

The flip side The remodeling at

the Altamonte Library, although inconvenient, reminds me of what a great library it is, when fully opened. I really miss normal operation of the library. Altamonte Library, hurry the remodel, so you can get back to your normal excellent service!
