Ticked off! @fake eyelashes

-

To the older guy at Circle K who tried to embarrass me about buying scratch offs, that you don’t get rich from them. You’re right, I’m not looking to get rich from them, and why or who I am buying them for is none of your business! How does it affect your life? Try to be a blessing to someone instead next time!

What is up with all the women wearing fake eyelashes? My mother used to wear these in the 60s. But only for formal affairs. Women today wear them all day every day and it looks cheesy. Especially when they apply all of the black eye liner on top.

It ticks me off that the USPS delivers packages to my address and leaves the packages in the yard near the road 200 feet from my house. The packages could be soaked by rain, torn apart by animal scavengers, or stolen by human scavengers. If UPS and FedEx can deliver packages to the porch so can the U.S. Postal Service, if they weren’t so lazy. Walk down my driveway to the porch, the exercise will do you some good. The USPS is terrible!

It’s appalling how little courtesy and respect is shown to the elderly, especially those of us who are handicapped, by the younger generation in this country today. I am old and move very slowly, but I am doing the best that I can to stay out of your way. What goes around comes around, and you, also, will most likely will be old and crippled one day. Trust me, it doesn’t take as long as you might think. Show some kindness, respect, and patience; and maybe that will come around to you.

The flip side

Thank you to all the people who put up such a wonderful Christmas lights. I’m just too lazy and don’t have the talent. But I sure enjoy looking at your homes. And mine that is in total darkness is a wonderful contrast.
