Ticked off! @product packaging

-

I’m ticked off that my neighbor always complains about her student loan debt from college. She’s 40 years old and just bought a Tesla car!

I could spend all day complaining about product packaging for various reasons. But there is one that is absolutely one of the worst. It is the HP printer cartridge large pack. I finally used a heavy duty utility knife that was used to install vinyl flooring on it. It was still difficult to cut the two layers of cardboard or plastic used by the manufacturer. By the way, the most expensive fluid on earth is printer ink. It is a very expensive item. Wonder if that accounts for this packaging.

I’m ticked off that local government agencies can’t work together to time city, county and state road red lights. It’s beyond ridiculous that they can’t time some only 100 feet apart. Also, it is not rude to honk at the ones reading their phones holding up traffic at green lights. And stop poking in the left lane while texting or talking. Be respectful of others who have busy schedules and places to be. You’re not the only driver on the road.

I am ticked off at the speeds on Horatio Avenue in Maitland. The speed limit is 35 MPH. I drive 35-40. Every car passes me like I am standing still! Maitland police, I see an opportunity here for you to generate lots of speeding ticket revenue!

I am ticked that HUD has increased the maximum allowable rents in the Central Florida area; our rent in our so-called senior affordable housing has increased by 10%. Our Social Security income increased by 5.9%, we have inflation at 8.5%, so the only thing that I can do is cut out cable and reduce my food bill. I do not eat out and am on a vegetarian diet which now costs me 25% more since the beginning of the year when I can get the food.

The flip side

Thanks to the guy who helped me change a flat tire just off busy State Road 436 the other night. Your kindness is appreciated.
