Ticked off! @dynamic pricing

-

As a major fan of several pro football and baseball teams, I absolutely hate their scheduling regular season games in Britain, Mexico, and Germany. The Jacksonville Jaguars this coming season will play back-toback games overseas, staying there for a week and a half.

Since entertainment events and pro sports now use “dynamic pricing” to spread out the crowds and max out the prices on top-demand dates and times, how long before restaurants start issuing dynamic pricing menus for different days of the week, with highest prices on Saturday night and lowest on Mondays and Tuesdays?

I am ticked off about the person who boasted they are blessed to go to a church in East Orlando that has traditional music, etc. It’s not all about them. Why didn’t they share with others the name and location so that others could be blessed as well?

One local channel has a view in a window, to the left of the screen: Same scary radar for years! You would think Bob Opsahl was still spinning the news too!

To the dangerous driver that doesn’t understand the slower traffic move right law. You are impeding the flow of traffic, speed limit is irrelevant, you are causing a danger to all the drivers behind you, you are the one that should get a serious ticket. I’m really disappointed with all my neighbors who did not at least put out a can of food for the letter carriers’ food drive. You had two reminders, even furnished a bag to put it in. Hope you don’t ever need to depend on the food bank.

The flip side

I’d like to recognize all the considerate and law abiding motorists who, when stopped for a red traffic light, do not sit in the pedestrian crosswalk! Blocking the crosswalk makes it dangerous for people crossing the street and also impedes motorists at the green light trying to make left hand turns. Thank you.
