Ticked off! @tipping fever

-

the nurse in my doctor’s office? The bagger in Publix? The librarian who helps me find a book? My neighbor for waving “hi!”? My dental hygienist? The drive-thru worker? My dry cleaner? Why am I presented with an option to tip for the simplest jobs. All you did was hand me the food I ordered. This is getting out-of-hand. We need to continue to tip servers for personal service and attention. But tipping for the most trivial service is a big fat rip off!

I am ticked off that Orlando Health portal system is so screwed up you cannot access anything or anybody. They send you an email that you have a message but then you can’t access it!

It ticks me off that corporations are obsessed with their bottom lines and CEO compensation. They should be concentrating effort on bringing manufacturing home and making quality products that pass the test of time — whether it’s fashion or appliances. Stop remaking the same junk with planned obsolescence and instead hire quality people to give us quality products that last!

I am very ticked off that Apple has removed the ability to change the font size in the notes app in the last couple of updates.

Eating eggs with any type of hot sauce such as Tabasco, Mexican hot sauces, catsup/ketchup is just disgusting.

To the person ticked off at the neighbor who doesn’t put out a can of food for the food drive. What they may not see are the neighbors who send substantial checks to their local food banks a couple of times a year that more than covers for many single cans not donated.

The flip side

Thank you to my roofing contractor who installed our new roof in just two days. The big dumpster for the discarded tiles was in our driveway just a few hours on the first day. Joe was very efficient, knowledgeable and courteous.
