Ticked off!

@Gen Z attitude

-

I am ticked off by the huge sense of entitlement by the younger generations today, especially Gen Z! They think that they deserve to get paid just for showing up and do not take pride in their work! They think they deserve a tip without providing good service! When they deliver groceries, they expect a tip in spite of crushing your bread and eggs! In my day, we took pride in our work, provided excellent customer service without the expectation of a tip, and felt a sense of accomplishment about the work that we did. Young people are too spoiled and lazy today!

I know we are not a major market but why are there so many unattractive people on TV in this area? Nice faces but obese, we have a few pretty even glam anchors but mostly below average, and the guys whose bottom ties show under their coats look silly. One station with a cute weather person puts on an awful sub when the main guy is gone.

To the person upset by the “dynamic” pricing of sports teams. You ask how long it will be until restaurants start doing this but if you haven’t noticed, restaurants have been doing this for decades. Think about your “special” Mothers Day dinners, Fathers Day meals, Thanksgiving meals and most of all the New Years Eve meals. They all tack on plenty of extra money for the prime holiday.

Will all of the parents of free range kids please make plans for a sitter, daycare, or summer camp now? Some of you don’t know or care what the kids are doing as long as they aren’t bothering you. Yet, you are the first to cry when something happens. Boundaries are a good thing.
