Ticked off! @Maitland Post Office

-

I am ticked off at the Maitland Post Office. They put a new mailbox outside to replace the existing one. Now you have to get out of your car to deposit the mail. Many older or handicapped people use it (including me) because they cannot walk. Please replace it with the old one that had a slide deposit box.

Telemarketers are using your phone to further their business. This is not right and should not be legal. Tell them this and then hang up. We must continue to try to stop them from this travesty of justice on behalf of everyone!

To add to the highway lane discussion: Several months ago, when I was traveling on State Road 408, a police officer waved me over. He didn’t ticket me, but he did tell me that I was going too slow in the outer lane. The kicker? I was going a minimum of 10 miles over the posted speed limit. He didn’t ticket me for speeding, but button-holed me for being slower traffic in the “fast” lane. So, “slower traffic keep right” goes, even if you are breaking the speed limit a little less than the people in the lanes to your right.

I’m ticked off at car companies selling cars with 500 to 800 HP! There is no reason for these cars to be on the street. Unexperienced wealthy idiots have no idea what the power is. This coming from an old drag racer with a car 35 years ago, running 500 HP running 10 seconds at 125 MPH, at our legal dragstrip. Now you know why concrete walls and homes are destroyed, let alone people dying! Ban them!

The flip side

I would like to thank the kind person who turned over my lost car keys (we were in a panic) to the Gatorland security team on Thursday and how well security responded. Fun place to visit and best overall staff is why we always return. Thanks again.
