Ticked off! @sneaky tips

-

I am ticked off by sneaky tips! I hate it when I am trying to place a grocery delivery order with Walmart and I find a $10 tip automatically added to the total! Most of the time, those drivers are incompetent and give lousy service and do not deserve any tip! They either crush my groceries, drop items between the car and my front door, give me someone else’s order or items that I was charged for are missing! They should not automatically be adding a $10 tip! I prefer to see how the service is and add a tip after delivery, and they have earned a tip by providing good service! I should get to decide if and how much I tip!

It ticks me off to no end that people who rent sneak in pit bulls! I live in a duplex rental community and as soon as the property managers get rid of one tenant with a pit bull another moves in or other tenants think it is a good idea to buy or adopt one! Not only are these dogs dangerous, but they are against the rules and violate your lease! We have a housing crisis in Florida! Why cause yourself to be evicted or your lease to not be renewed for an unauthorized pet? Why not adopt a small bread dog that is not a violation of the rules or lease and is not dangerous? Not to mention, a small bread dog is cheaper to feed and does not destroy rental property!

Regarding the highway lane discussion and cruising in the passing lane. While a lot of drivers may think of it as “the fast lane” the left lane generally should only be used for passing other vehicles. When you are “cruising” in the left lane and cars are passing you on the right, it creates a dangerous environment on the road. Proper etiquette? Always drive the speed limit and only use the left lane when overtaking a slower moving vehicle.

The flip side

A big thank you to Tom MacCubbin for all his fantastic gardening advice. He’s been such a big help when I have a plant problem I can’t solve on my own. Thank you!
