Ticked off! @Internet problems

-

I am ticked off that I have to have a Spectrum tech come out and make repairs on my Internet every 3–4 months for years now! I am elderly and live on SSI and cannot afford to live in Lake Mary, Bay Hill or Windermere. I have to live in a low income area where the Internet equipment is dilapidated and this causes the issues. I am paying for 500 Mbps and only receiving 88 Mbps tops! I bet if I lived in a wealthy area, that I would not have these ongoing problems!

Evidently AdventHealth requires front staff to complete rudeness classes. Two days in a row I have to deal with indifference and mediocre interactions!

I’m totally ticked off with the idiots who run Orange County Waste Management. Some 14 days ago the residential refuse truck damaged my garbage can. I called and put in a request for a new one. I was told to put it in a place where it can be seen and it will be replaced within 10 business business days. Well, 10 business days have come and gone and it’s still hasn’t been replaced.

If I hear one more business receptionist answer the phone like “It’s another wonderful day here at Dementia Gardens, where our residents come first!” I’m going to drive over there and scream “Just say “(Business) and how may we help you!” Same with fastfood drive-thrus, where $8 an hour “managers” with clip-on ties and homework assignments force their order takers to say “Would like to order our hot ‘n juicy triple bacon and double cheese burger with fries and a drink today?” Corporate creeps who never deal with the public come up with this stuff.

The flip side

Yesterday recycling people came in Rivercrest. I had placed the container by street. When I heard the truck I was back by my garage. The young man emptied the container he saw me with my right hand all wrapped up and he started walking towards me. He told me to wait and carried the container all the way to my garage. What a wonderful and caring person. Never happened before. Thank you young man.
