Ticked off! @boring baseball

Are you getting scam phone calls from some unnamed outfit that claims you need to be home to sign for documents relating to a civil complaint about you? If the caller implies “the firm” must be contacted, you know it’s fake. They’re just using fear in trying to sell you something useless.

For the discussion that soccer is boring. In all previous opinions this week, you can replace the word soccer with baseball and I agree with everything that was said. Yes, baseball is boring, players stand around waiting for a ball to drop somewhere close to them and a game lasts three hours.

Manual lawn mowers make much less noise than gas-powered mowers and create no air pollution. Leaf blowers should be illegal. They create noise and air pollution, and those who operate them are breathing gas fumes, while the ear protectors cannot entirely protect their hearing. Brooms are much better!

Iamso ticked off at Dr. Phillips Center for adding on a service fee to the cost of the tickets. Stop gouging us like Ticketmaster does!

Shouldn’t I be ticked off that my insurance company will only issue a six month policy for my car, which I drive all year; but will only issue a 12 month policy on my boat that I use for six months of the year? Is that so rates on my auto can be raised more frequently, which they sure do!

I’m ticked off at the writer who asserts that more police and ticketing is a solution to rush hour traffic. Clearly they have disregarded the rubbernecking “effect” when a cop does rarely pull someone over, as well as when a cop parks on the shoulder for and additional half an hour writing up an accident report. Moreover, rush hour is now a misnomer. It instead should be called crawl hour.
