Ticked off! @TV dress codes

- Disney/ESPN

The dispute ticks me off. I pay Spectrum to deliver the product Disney has. If Spectrum can’t or won’t I’ll cancel and find alternate delivery for the product I know Spectrum gets some time to negotiate the best deal it can, likely more costly. Then they can do what they do with regularity anyway, raise my bill.

I loved watching westerns when I was a kid. Now when I see one I see men acting badly! This is what we want for male role models? A fight (fist or gun) is how things are settled. Many of the old musicals, etc. were so much more positive.

I’m ticked off that the LEOs can cry “we don’t have resources” and then fight every effort to have traffic cameras monitor and enforce traffic law. It is time for the LEOs to support that effort. Caveat, the LEO shouldn’t see one cent of any revenues generated by traffic cameras and third party monitors. In fact, we should then be able to reduce the patrol officers by a large percentage. We are tired of being an inconvenience to you!

Amen to the person who mentioned dress codes and grooming standards on local TV stations. Professional dress codes were last seen in the early 2000’s, when you could watch TV news and see people clean shaven, nice suits, and attractive dresses. Now you watch the news and the stations allow the TV folks to wear party wear with low neck lines and jeans/polos when reporting the news. It make you not want to watch the news anymore. Please return to the standards of professionalism and then the stations can get some credit.

The flip side

Thank you to the workers from the roads and drainage department of Orange County for dealing with a driveway problem over a large drainage ditch. I can now drive safely over the ditch.
