Ticked off! @Disney marathons

-

Why get so upset about the dress code of newscast personnel? They have so little on-screen time among all the commercials that there is little to react to clothing and hair growth. On the subject of Disney vs. Spectrum; Spectrum makes so much money producing then running commercials, surely the amount involved in the Disney negotiation is just a drop in the bucket.

When will Disney realize that the park ticket presented to volunteers in the past for all the marathons was to be a token of appreciation, not a form of compensation? Disney is showing absolutely no appreciation to the volunteers who have been there for marathon after marathon, year after year. They have taken back the volunteer program forcing the volunteer when signing up to check off that they are receiving nothing in return for their volunteer efforts. They have completely ruined this entire marathon program and we volunteers feel sorry for all the runners. Hope the runners get the water and cheering support you are accustomed to since all us volunteers from the past 30 years will no longer be there to support you.

I’m ticked off at auto insurance companies that try to put part of the blame on the driver who is filing a claim against their client. I was not speeding and I could not have avoided the accident. This apparently has become common practice for auto insurance claims.

It is so irritating to watch a local news anchor with false eyelashes that are so large and heavy that she struggles to blink her eyes! Why wear them if they are so uncomfortable? It is obvious that they are fake and they look ridiculous!

The flip side

A special thank you to the young couple who recently paid my $6 grocery bill at Publix. I forgot my charge card and waited for my son to bring it when the cashier informed me that the bill was paid for. I didn’t get the name of the couple. I will pay it forward.
