Ticked off! @greedy veterinarians

-

I, too, am ticked off at some of the greed in our veterinarian services. When it comes to euthanizing and putting a pet out of misery if you can’t do that for what you’re client can afford to pay you should get out of the business of being a veterinarian because you do not really care about your patient. Didn’t used to be that way either. One of our problems is our veterinary clinics are being bought up by big business rather than the kind-hearted, dedicated sole practitioner who cared about their patient and cared about what a pet means to the owner.

I am ticked off that the prices of pet items, especially healthy dog food, are sky high! Not to mention these so-called low cost vets that are greedy and they only reduce the price of vaccinations because they bet on you coming back when your dog is sick and take full advantage of your love and concern for your fur baby! It seems that pet ownership is now a privilege reserved for the wealthy! It stinks that a lonely elderly woman or disabled person who needs and deserves companionship cannot afford it any longer!

Iamso ticked off at the parking nightmare at MCO. I have over 60 flights per year and before terminal C opened I had no problem finding a parking space in Garage A or Garage B. Since then I’ve spent 30 minutes looking for a space usually on the roof top floor. Friday I arrived 2.5 hours before my flight, Garage A, B, and C were closed by 9:00 a.m. I had to park in a field with hundreds of other vehicles south of the airport. Got to my gate with four minutes to spare. Our Mayor and his OIA board members need to address this problem immediately! Final straw was the opening of the Brightline train on Friday adding to the chaos. People were furious.

The flip side

I am deeply grateful to the pharmacist at the Gateway Publix for taking the time to explain how to save money on my husband’s very expensive prescriptions. The folks there always try to help me and I appreciate all of you so much!
