Notable television chefs will be cooking up something special at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Nov. 3, when Taste of Space: Celebrity Chef Edition. The ticketed event ($175 per person) will be blasting off at The Deep Space Launch Complex, welcoming Duff Goldman (“Ace of Cakes,” “Kids Baking Championship”), Esther Choi (“Beat Bobby Flay,” “Chopped”), each of whom will be cooking up exciting dishes for guests to sample.

Jon Ashton (“The Today Show,” “The Tonight Show”) returns to host.

Veteran NASA astronauts Anna Fisher, Bruce Melnick and Scott Altman will be on hand, mingling and sharing spaceflight stories while joining in on the cooking demos.

The popular event returns amid the ongoing Taste of Space: Fall Bites!, which sees tasty specials available all around the complex through Nov. 5. From fried apple pie and pumpkin spice bundt cake — each served a la mode — at the Milky Way ice cream shop to the Applewood bacon, gouda and arugula sandwich on a pretzel bun at the Orbit Cafe, seasonal bites abound.

When the chef stars align on Nov. 3, chef demos and tastes while astronauts regale the room with personal stories of favorite foods during spaceflights and the experience of eating in orbit. Astronaut photo-ops and dessert

follow the demos, with the treat of a special Charm City Cakes space-themed confection that’s Duff-designed. (Yes, you’ll get to taste it, too!).

Tickets for Taste of Space: Celebrity Chef Edition are $175 per person

plus tax and include a live chef demo, samples, two alcoholic drink tickets (cash bar also available), astronaut photo-ops, commemorative piece signed by the chefs and astronauts and a custom event pin. There will be

no formal seating for this event.
