Ticked off! @adult coloring books

To the person ticked off that he doesn’t get a receipt at the gas pumps. I think that some of the gas companies have eliminated the receipts once and for all. I have not got a receipt for the last three months in two of the main gas station networks. Apparently they have decided to eliminate the receipts. They want you to go inside to look for the receipt and maybe buy something else in the store. Looks like a marketing scheme.

I’m sick of the newest adult coloring books that are being put together by computers vs. true artists! Weird things pop up out of a body of water; body parts are missing, etc. It is sickening!

A writer stated that restaurant kitchens close a half hour before closing. I have worked for and in restaurants doing construction work on the buildings. This work can only be completed after hours. I guarantee that folks will come in at 8:25 p.m. with a “closing time” of a 8:30 and expect to be waited on and served even though the store closes in five minutes. These folks stay way past closing time. This interrupts schedules and lives of many. Let’s try to respect others that have families and other obligations.

I am ticked off when people complain that they cannot pay their rent or car payment but they can afford acrylic nails, pedicures, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, designer clothing, booze, cigarettes and marijuana! If you can afford all of that, you can afford your rent and car payment! It is all about your priorities! Grow up and budget your money properly! You need a home but do not need all of that other stuff! Your financial problems are self-induced if you smoke, drink, use drugs and frequent the salon!

The flip side

Many thanks to the driver of the Winter Park garbage truck, who saw me pushing my walker downhill. He jumped out of his cab and took my garbage cans from the curb up to my house. His courtesy and kindness are much appreciated.
