Ticked off! @young Americans

-

I am ticked off that young Americans are so disrespectful toward the elderly! The elderly are considered wise and revered in other countries and cultures! Only in America are the elderly treated like garbage! I find it offensive that Americans believe that all elderly persons who reach retirement age should be locked away in a convalescent center! Everyone gets old eventually! Be careful what you wish for because one day you may be discarded in a convalescent center!

I’m ticked off that there is no ice cream available at the McDonald’s for at least 80% of the time. Seems like maybe they should change their system to be able to provide ice cream on a daily basis. For such a large company, that seems very strange to me. Oh, well, at least Arby’s machines work.

There are pet owners who lavish love on spoiled animals, I agree with the ticked off writer about that. However, there are cruel owners who keep pets chained up day and night. Someone in my neighborhood did that. The dog was fed and watered but never unchained to roll in the dirt, walk, run or do anything that dogs need to do. The “Mutts” creator, I think was reminding us that pets are sometimes mistreated. And there are still compassionate people, children included, who care enough to help.

Iamso ticked off at the OCSO, for ignoring a huge potential source of revenue for Orange County! North Econ Trail north of University Boulevard sees at least 50-100 speeders every single day. Maybe even more. The speed limit is 25 miles an hour and every vehicle that passes my house is exceeding that by a whole lot! Come on guys and girls here’s your opportunity to write a whole lotta very lucrative, speeding tickets.

The flip side

I am disabled and cannot walk easily. Thank you to the stores who provide pickup spaces for Instacart and other services. It is much appreciated.
