Ticked off! @spring training

-

It is sad that no matter how important are baseball spring training games for the Florida economy, most of the games are substandard baseball played mostly with minor league players and few major leaguers. Supposedly there is a rule that every team needs to have at least four established major leaguers in every game. But apparently teams are not following the rule. Okay, teams are trying to develop and season all their players, but baseball fans deserve a better experience and spectacle.

I’m ticked off that Floridians may not recognize the value of controlled burns. Prescribed fire benefits people and land by reducing hazardous fuels, protecting homes and infrastructure from high-intensity fires, lessening the spread of pest insects and disease, and removing invasive species that threaten native flora and fauna.

I am ticked off at the awful quality of life our Central Florida leaders have brought on us. I think it was after the Orlando airport became an International airport, an official said “All we need is a terrorist attack and we’ll be a big time city.” Well, we’ve have the terrorist attack, now gangs shooting at each other in the streets, violent crime in general, housing problems, traffic congestion, shortage of schools, water shortage, it goes on and on, all the problems just like big time cities! I hope our leaders are happy.

Altamonte Springs is all about the revenue. If or when they realize there’s money to be made off traffic enforcement around Cranes

Roost, then they will redeploy their troopers from State Road 436. Which is the long-time low hanging fruit with new customers every day, despite their decades of enforcement

The flip side

Giving a shout out to Wilson Elementary School in Sanford. The Bee theme fence coverings look fantastic!
