Ticked off! @divergi ngd iamond

Referencing the new “diverging diamond” Sand Lake Road interchange — so the FDOT expects Florida drivers to pay attention to the road, pay attention to the signs, and adjust their speed to the road conditions. Genius, pure genius. Sigh.

I am so ticked off. My family has lived in Florida for 100 years and we Floridians get blamed for being lousy drivers. Most of you just moved here and are further ruining this once wonderful place.

I’m ticked off about unscrupulous (or fraudulent and illegal) tax preparation services. I learned about one supposedly certified tax preparation service which files taxpayer returns electronically with their own bank account information on the form for receiving tax refunds from the IRS and then giving the taxpayer only half of the amount that they are supposed to receive. And they don’t even give the taxpayer a copy of the tax return (form 1040) so that they can check on what was sent in!

I’m ticked off that no stores in the area (including Publix) have sold 16.9 oz. six pack bottles of Pepsi Caffeine free sodas in years, I’ve been forced to drink Coke which I don’t like as much.

I get ticked off when someone I need to speak with leaves me a voicemail, and they spit out their phone number so quickly that I do not understand it on the voicemail, and they fail to repeat it slower. The number they called from is a large hospital and is the main number. Now I am left without a way to call them back, and I really need to speak with them! So frustrating!

The flip side

Kudos to the College Park Neighborhood Association for the fabulous event at Dartmouth Park on Sunday, March 10. What a fantastic annual event for families. It was well organized and there was plenty for everyone to do. Food, fun and even dancing! Great job CPNA! Thank you.
