Ticked off! @scary dogs
Dogs may have
a right to be on private property behind a fence but they don’t have rights to bark aggressively constantly. There are city and county ordinances about barking dogs and aggressive pets. A dog that lunges and barks at every person passing by, whether behind a fence or on a leash, is aggressive and scary, especially one that appears suddenly lunging and barking loudly as if it would tear you apart. It is scary, unfriendly and inconsiderate of the pet owner. Elderly people and children especially may be frightened by lunging and barking dogs.
I am one of many people in Florida who care that the people in Flint, Michigan, still don’t have healthy water and are still being screwed by their government. Thanks for keeping us informed, news stations.
Compassion for others is a good feeling.
I’ve been just about run over on someone riding a regular bike. It has nothing to do with whether or not it’s an E bike. A regular bike can be rode very fast as well. It’s not the kind of bike. It’s the politeness of the bike rider. Same goes for someone who is jogging/running by. On a bike you ring the bell on your bike to announce your approach you slow down call out on your left and carefully go around the person on foot. And no, they should not be out on the road risking their lives from cars. The key to all such things are being polite and following proper procedures just like when you’re driving a car.
What’s wrong with Florida drivers is that they all come from somewhere else, just like yourself! They all bring their bad habits with them and no one reads the Florida State Drivers Handbook before driving here. As a native Floridian sometimes I wish all of you would go back to where you came from and take your bad driving habits with you!
The flip side
There was a yard trash pile ignored for two weeks. I tied it up for pickup. Called customer service at Waste Management. Thank you for your kind customer service and being the hardest working people in Volusia County.
