Ticked off! @speed limits

-

To the lady ticked off about her good sandals. You can always do grocery pick up or better yet – go to another store. Or wear weather-appropriate shoes. Just a thought.

Where do I start? A neighbor of mine spent one hour blowing the leaves that came from a tree across the street back across the street when he could’ve picked those leaves up in a fraction of the time. Thank goodness he was using a weenie electric blower.

I’m still ticked off at Altamonte Springs! Construction on Central Parkway at Centerpoint Circle now extends to Festival Drive. This has been ongoing for months now. Construction of sidewalks on Palm Springs Drive and along State Road 436 has been ongoing for months now. Orange barrels and orange cones everywhere. Even in places where the work seems to be done the orange barrels and cones remain. But what I am most ticked off at is the new traffic light that was installed on Central Parkway and Centerpoint Circle back in November is still not operating. I even discovered there is a school bus stop at that corner. Phone calls back in January we were told the light would be working in February, then March and now we are nearing the end of April and it is still not working.

I am ticked off people automatically assume a business owns the property it’s on. The majority do not. They lease the land and only own the building. So if you are having an issue with water drainage, find out the property owner through the city.

The flip side

Thank you to the person that canceled their Labcorp appointment online so that I could take that slot. It is so nice when people cancel their appointment when they find out they have to reschedule. This gives someone else the opportunity to take that appointment and not have to wait 45 minutes or an hour as a walk-in. Thank you for your courtesy.
