CRIME 2 men attempt to rob CVS in Chico

CHICO » The Forest Avenue CVS was almost robbed Monday as two men jumped the pharmacy counter demanding access to a safe.

After a few seconds, the men ran out of the store without stealing anything, said a press release issued Monday by the Chico Police Department.

The men were described as young and wearing dark clothing including hooded sweatshirts.

They allegedly drove off in a silver or tan sedan.
