All-League
each earned all-league selections while Aiyana Lee was honorable mention. Las Plumas’ Shawnia Copple and Kami Thompson were named all-league.
Corning’s Mayze Menefee and Sanaya Shrader, as well as Paradise’s Alysa Winebarger, rounded out the WSL all-league selections. Addie Galantine of Corning and Alysha Kline of LP were honorable mentions.
On the boys’ side PV and Chico each garnered two selections on the all-league team.
Jake Kremer and Aaron Gomez got the nod for Pleasant Valley while Chico’s Marvelous Owens and Quentin Thomas also earned an all-league honor.
Las Plumas senior Jaden Burgess was named WSL MVP in his first year with the Thunderbirds since transferring from Oroville. Burgess had two teammates, Anthony Quihuiz and Josh Sprague, join him on the allleague list. Oroville had three players, Troy Moench, Tyler Dolan and Johnny Holmes, named all-league. Paradise’s Ben Baber and Ethan Wart were also named.
In the BVL, Grant Tull was named MVP while Cameron Erickson and Tony Murrillo were each selected as all-league. Orland’s Evven Orozco was also named.
In the MVL, East Nicolaus’ David Earhart and Durham’s Braeden Southam were named co-MVPs. Durham’s Thomas Husa and Brady Webb were named all-league as well as Hamilton’s Manny Rios. Hamilton boys basketball coach Kevin Wilkerson was named Coach of the Year.
