No denying outcome of 2020 election

Loretta Ann Torres just can’t accept that a significant majority of people in this country didn’t want Donald Trump for president. She obviously believes Trump’s repeated statements, which he used even before elected in 2016, that if he loses the election is rigged.

She, and Trump apparently haven’t seen, or are choosing to ignore, the defamation lawsuits against Newsmax,

Fox News and individuals like Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell. Just like the lawsuits they filed claiming election fraud, it hasn’t gone well.

In the motion to dismiss the defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion and Smartmatic Trump lawyer Sidney Powell argued “no reasonable person would believe” that her comments “were truly statements of fact” and therefore she couldn’t be sued. Is that an admission she lied?

In a recent settlement by Newmax of similar defamation lawsuits regarding election fraud they said the following. “Newsmax subsequently found no evidence that such allegations were true. Many of the states whose results were contested by the Trump campaign after the November 2020 election have conducted extensive recounts and audits, and each of these states certified the results as legal and final.”

If readers recall I’m no fan of our votes being counted by computers using “proprietary” (trade secret) software. We should be voting on paper ballots counted by hand. In the 2020 election we had millions and millions of paper ballots because of COVID. Because of this recounts could be done accurately and therefore believable by a “reasonable person.”
